It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Elaine Gronquist Ray (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Edwin and Gladys Kilmer Gronquist; and her brothers, Harold and Carl Gronquist, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Jerry R. Ray; her daughters, Lisa R. Stafford of Bronx, NY and Kristin R. Johnson (Tommy) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Kevin Stafford, Logan and Payton Johnson; and her brother James E. Gronquist (Susan) of Charlotte. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
