He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Gillespie Sr. and Geneva Gillespie; and his wife Kathy Gillespie. He was also cherished by his many titles, his favorite being Husband, Dad, and Friend.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Westover Church (505 Muirs Chapel Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410).
