He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victor Friend and Betty Jean Friend (Culler); his former wife Konnie Mills Friend of Princeton, WV; his daughters, Heather Friend Hulin and Scarlet Friend; and his siblings, Candace Friend Gilliam Hutton (Charlie) of Kingsport, TN, John Friend (Brenda) of Bristol, VA and David Friend of Bristol, TN.. He was also cherished by Several nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family and many friends.
