The passing of Lillian Cockrell (Stony Point, North Carolina) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 86. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wilkinson and Sue Wilkinson; and her siblings, Louise Rakes, Gladys Daniels, Marie Wagner, Alton Wilkinson, Leon Wilkinson and Becky Joyce.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Cockrell; and her son Curt Cockrell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Brothers Funeral Service (803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stony Point Baptist Church Cemetery (231 Ruritan Park Rd, Stony Point, NC 28678).
