She was predeceased by: her father Bryan Carter; her spouse Burr York Hutchison; her siblings, Alma Draughn, Doris Hutchison, Rose Simmons, Nancy Knighton, Ward, Joseph and Conrad Carter; and her brothers-in-law, Russell Draughn, Wilmer Hutchison, Clinton Smith and Bobby Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Hutchison White (John) of Greensboro and Kay Hutchison Carroll of Greensboro; her granddaughters, Sarah Ivester (Shane) of Rural Hall and Ashley Carroll of Greensboro; her great grandchild Cooper Ivester of Rural Hall; her siblings, Agnes Smith, Betty Luffman (Javan) and Franklin (Kit); and her siblings-in-law, Ray Knighton and Leora Sidden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
