Margaret Daye Attayek Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Daye Attayek (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on July 2, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Edward Attayek, Sr.; her parents, Anies Daye and Mary Kabalan Daye; her siblings, Anies Daye, Jr., Bobby Daye, Jimmy Daye, Evelyn Ragland and Rosalie Rabil; her son Joseph Edward Attayek, Jr.; and her grandson Dustin Attayek Maness.

She is survived by: her children, Pat Attayek Mills (Ronnie) of Greensboro, Mike Attayek (Tish) of Raleigh, Danny Attayek (Karen) of Garden City, SC, Johnny Attayek (Pam) of Raleigh and Joanie Attayek of Greensboro; her daughter-in-law Evelyn (JoJo); her grandchildren, Pete Attayek (Anna), Sarah Attayek Plaksin (Joe), Maggie Attayek Deming (Jonathan), Alan Mills, Susan Mills Schaff (Joe), Marianne Mills Cook (Jeff), Kelly Attayek Merritt (Sam), Ryan Attayek, Caroline Daye Attayek, Bizzy Maness Bastable (Tommy) and John Maness Attayek (Andie); her great grandchildren, Callie, Aaron, Sophie, Miller, Gabriel, Thomas, Braylon, Jameson, Chase, Cooper, Charlotte "Charlie", Samuel and Abigail Jojo; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Daye and Helen Daye Williams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
