With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaretta Grant (Greensboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Margaretta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Margaretta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Timothy Grant. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Leazer (George) and Pamela Womack (Ricky); and her grandchildren, Timothy E. Grant (Amelda), Samuel Louis, Destiny Grant, Alex Grant, Michael Oliver (Bridgett), Daisy and Leonard. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cassie Coote-Brown Memorial Chapel at Perry J. Brown Funeral Home Chapel (909 E Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
