She was predeceased by: her parents, George Columbus Baker and Emily Frances Collins Baker; her husband Roscoe Earnest "Curly" Mabe; and her siblings, Clarence Jackson Baker and Emily Eleanor Baker.
She is survived by: her sister Kay Frances Baker Davis (Steve); her children, Cheryl Sue Mabe Hall, Joseph Timothy Mabe (Treva) and Robin DeLane Mabe (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Tara Hart (Frankie), Lindy Kirkman, Brad Mabe, Michelle Carter (Tavares), Marissa Mabe, Ashtyn Greene (Ryan), Jordan Hartling (Kevin), Courtney Mabe (Scottie), Hilary Hardy (Zack), Brittany Noles (Jimmy) and Justin Mabe. She is also survived by numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Street Baptist Church (3113 N Church St, Greensboro, NC 27405). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Church Street Baptist Church (3113 N Church St, Greensboro, NC 27405). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the Lakeview Memorial Park (3600 N O. Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27405).
