It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Rotunda (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Joan, Doug Roach of Martinsburg, WV, Nancy and Richard Rotunda of Annville, PA. She is survived by: her parents, Terri Rotunda and Joe Rotunda of Greensboro, NC; her siblings, Anthony Rotunda (Wendi) of Durham, NC, Alec Rotunda (Rachel) of Washington, DC, Maggie Spirou (Athan) of Charlotte, NC and Maria Thomas (Tyler) of Belmont, NC; and her uncle Richard Rotunda. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished family friends.
Carrying forward her passion for fostering community, she co-founded a club called Welcome to the Whirlie Side that embraced younger students entering the Grimsley community during the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Greensboro Grimsley Alumni and Friends Association, in memory of Molly Rotunda.
