With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip H. Koch Jr. (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Philip Koch and Marie Lawrence Koch; and his brother Robert Koch. He is survived by : his significant other Anne Burke Koch; his children, Beth King (Dave) of Dublin, Ohio, Donna Goodwin (Chris) of Oak Ridge, NC, Tom Koch (Jane) of Garner, NC and Phil Koch (Lisa) of Lancaster, SC; his grandson Ben Koch (Kendall); his children, Nick Koch (Melissa) of Charlotte, Kathleen Lackey (Caleb) of Asheboro, Daniel (Lexie) of Bellevue, WA, Alex Koch (Claudia) of Charlotte, Brian King (Jennifer) of Madison, WI, Jennifer Goodwin of Brooklyn, NY, Tommy Goodwin of Kissimmee, FLA, Jack Koch of Washington, DC and Max Koch of Columbia, SC; his great grandchildren, Finnley and Eilie Lackey; and his brother Larry Koch (Marie) of Winsted, CT. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made and to Trinity Missions, 9001 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20903 (the fundraising arm of the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity for whom his late uncles Fr. Andrew Lawrence, S.T. and Fr. Frederick Lawrence, S.T. dedicated their lives) or to the Community Theater of Greensboro (NC).
