It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodric Lamorio Smith (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Eugene Smith; and his grandparents, Ruth Daye Long, John Houston "Sim" Long, Katie Bryant Long, Willie Mae Smith and Henry Smith, Sr..

He is survived by : his mother Janie Long Smith; his son Keshawn C. Smith; his sister Rochelle McCoy Harper; his nieces, Jayla Harper and Jasmyn Harper; and his aunts and uncles, Donna Kaye Torian, Shelia Long Fuller (Donnie), Emma Thompson Long, Helen Long, Henry Smith, Jr. (Ruby), Dennis Bryant (Delsie) and Derrick Long (Darlene). He is also survived by cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 11:30 AM at the Believers Missionary Baptist Church (235 Ward Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
