He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Smith; and his grandparents, Ruth Daye Long, John Houston "Sim" Long, Katie Bryant Long, Willie Mae Smith and Henry Smith, Sr..
He is survived by: his mother Janie Long Smith; his son Keshawn C. Smith; his sister Rochelle McCoy Harper; his nieces, Jayla Harper and Jasmyn Harper; and his aunts and uncles, Donna Kaye Torian, Shelia Long Fuller (Donnie), Emma Thompson Long, Helen Long, Henry Smith, Jr. (Ruby), Dennis Bryant (Delsie) and Derrick Long (Darlene). He is also survived by cousins and friends.
