She is survived by: her children, Kim Higgins (Billy), Chris Hill (Heather), Amy Burwood (Dave) and Jody Hill (Julie); her grandchildren, Hailey Serpe (Julian), Will Higgins (Kirsten), Robbie Burwood, Jessica Higgins, Charlie Burwood, Sadie Burwood, Bree Hill, Ellie Burwood, Zander Hill, Aiden Hill and Wylder Hill; and her great grandchild Haisley Serpe.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, honoring Sandra's compassionate nature and her dedication to helping others.
