It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ruth Yount of Greensboro, North Carolina, born in Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Nolan Adolphus and Mary Frances Miller Yount; her brother-in-law John H Lee; and her pets, Sadie, Cody and Murphy.
She is survived by : her sisters, Cynthia Yount Lee of Charlotte, NC and Beverly J Yount of Hickory, NC; her nephew Adam Lee (Melissa); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Justin, Gavin and Bellamy of Matthews, NC; her nephew Jordan Lee (Liz); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Grayson, Ava, Kayleigh and Lawson of Indian Land, SC; and her pet Duncan. She is also survived by 14 cousins.
