He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Russell and Catherine Elizabeth Whitman; his wife Frances Harris Whitman; his children, Melissa (John Fogaros) of Nashville, TN, Robert Russell Whitman of McKinney, TX and Michael Taylor Whitman (Brittani) of Charlotte, NC; his granddaughters, Reese, Paige Fogaros and Collins Whitman; his siblings, Keith Whitman (Alayne) of Mill Creek, WA, Bruce Whitman (Susanna) of Albuquerque, NM and Terri King (Wayne) of Alamogordo, NM; and his nephews, Phil Whitman, Dan Whitman and Randall Whitman. He was also cherished by husband and a wonderful father who loved his children.
