He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his mother-in-law Alice Adkins; his sons, Philip Dixon (Whitney) of Winston Salem and Stephen Dixon of Raleigh; his stepsons, Joey Epperson (Candy) of Burlington and Danny Epperson (Laurie) of Summerfield; his grandchildren, Hallie Dixon, Brett Dixon, Haleigh Shutt (Epperson), Daniel Epperson, Megan Gammon (Epperson) and Jill Epperson; and his great grandchild Ellie Mae Gammon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (1834 U. S. Hwy 158 E, Yanceyville, NC 27379). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery (1834 U. S. Hwy 158 E, Yanceyville, NC 27379).
