She was predeceased by: her parents, James Little, Jr. and Lottie Garris Little; her son James Earl Rouse; and her brothers, Carrold Little, Irvin Thomas Little (Sam) and James Richard Little.
She is survived by: her husband Ned H. Rouse; her son Ned Holden Rouse, Jr. (Cathy) of Winterville; her grandchildren, Christopher Rouse (Robin) and Crystal Rouse; and her sisters, Doris L. Stokes of Winston-Salem and Joyce L. Green of Chickasaw, Alabama..
