He was predeceased by: his sister Cathy Tomany of Raleigh, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Van Hagen; his daughters, Audrey Sehlmeyer (Paul) of Massapequa, NY and Mary McGeary (Kenneth) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Paul Jr., Olivia, Emma and MacKenzie; and his sister Josephine Bannies of Browns Mills, NJ.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Service & Crematory (605 Country Club Dr, Greenville, NC 27834). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
