It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Gene Goforth of Greenville, North Carolina, born in Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Phelps Goforth and Hobart Goforth; and his brothers, Jim Goforth (Sarah) and Jerry Goforth (Linda). He is survived by: his wife Rose Drake Goforth; his stepson Jay Howell (Ashley); his grandchildren, Taylor, Summer and Carson Howell; and his siblings, Joe Goforth (Barbara) of Conover, NC and Nancy Huffman (Lamar) of Granite Falls, NC.. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews; 20 great-great nieces and nephews.
