He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Glenn Flythe, Sr. and Gracie Woodard Flythe. He is survived by: his wife Linda Futrell Flythe; his sons, Robert Glenn "Robbie" Flythe, III (Lana) of Murfreesboro, Samuel Eugene "Sam" Flythe (Paula) of Greenville and Joseph Myles "Joe" Flythe (Tracey) of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Tyler), Ryan (Olivia), Samuel (Caroline), Lauren and Jeffrey; and his great grandchildren, Tomlin, Clifton and Audrey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (314 W Main St, Murfreesboro, NC 27855). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Milwaukee Cemetery.
