It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Franklin Manning (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Franklin Manning and Evelyn Coward; his son Bryan Wayne Manning; and his brother Bobby Randall Manning. He is survived by: his wife Beulah Mellisa Penny Manning of Calico; his children, Annette Harris (Jimmy) of Chicod and Bennie Manning (Ginger) of Calico; his grandchildren, Bambi Manning, Bryan Manning (Rachel), Brandon Manning, Jimmy Harris Jr. (Samantha), Jordan Harris, Emily Harris, Sarah Manning and Hannah Manning; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Brennon, Mason, Lydia and Kinley; his niece Tammy Payne (David); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Sue Penny, Peggy Ann Penny, Letha Mae Humphrey (Julian), Mary Ida Griffin (Fred), Lester Penny, Louis Penny and Heber Penny (Betty Jean). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
