She was predeceased by : her parents, Lillian VanZant and Horace Allen; her sister Treva Taylor; and her stepfather Cecil VanZant. She is survived by : her former life partner Patrick S. Burdett of Trenton, NC; her sons, Michael Burdett (David Guthrie) of Grimesland, NC, Leighton Burdett (Lisa) of Knoxville, TN and Patrick W. Burdett (Catie) of Grimesland, NC; her grandchildren, Victoria Burdett Foster (Jonathan) and Patrick T. Burdett of Grimesland, NC; and her great grandchild Skyler Foster.
