With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darlene Easley Link of Halifax, North Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Link, Sr.; her children, Ronnie Link, Jr. of South Boston, Carlene Dailey (Cameron) of South Boston and Lewis Link of Hollywood, California; her parents, Lewis Easley and Celestine Easley of News Ferry, Virginia; and her siblings, Annette Minter (Vince) of Martinsville, Priscilla Price of South Boston and Michael Easley (Belicia) of News Ferry. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
