She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Parrish and Elva Lancaster Parrish; her husband Raeford C. Norris; her siblings, Rebie Smith and Albert Parrish; and her stepson Danny Norris.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Norris (Charlene) of Roanoke Rapids and Brenda Sanders of Moseley, VA; her siblings, Faye Hostetter, Gloria McLaughlin and James W. Parrish; her grandchildren, Lauren Welsh (George), Amber Cain (Tim), Taylor Shell (Caleb) and Matthew Sanders; her great grandchildren, Emilee Moseley and Allie Stettler; her stepchildren, Becky McGee and Ricky Norris; her stepgrandchildren, Alfred Coats, Sasha Beasley, Angela Coats and Austin Norris; and her close friend Betty Staton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
