He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas W. Rowland and Ruth Hux Rowland; and his sister Linda Rowland Rhea. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anne Rowland; his children, Scott Rowland (Maria) of Durham and Lisa Cooke West (John) of Halifax; his grandsons, Brandon Cooke (Tatiana) of Whispering Pines and Justin Cooke of Halifax; and his great grandchildren, Vaughan Cooke and Colton Cooke.
