Ida Norton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2021, at the age of 93, Ida Norton (Hamlet, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie English and Litlie Paul English; her daughter Clara Norton; her husband Willie Lawrence Norton; and her siblings, Percy English, Junior English and Eliza Robson.

She is survived by: her children, Danny Norton (Dorothy) of Laurel Hill, Larry Norton (Cathy) of McColl, SC, Teddy Norton (Pat) of Laurinburg, Patsy Coates (Ricky) of Laurinburg, Kathy Stanley (Billy) of Laurinburg, Phyllis Walters (Jerry) of Laurinburg and Goldie Cheek (David) of Aberdeen; and her brothers, James Carl English of Bennettsville, SC and Wesley English of Hamlet. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren, thirty great-great grandchildren, along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends.
