With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lorraine Perkins Patten of Hampstead, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton B. Patten; her daughter Elisabeth Lorraine Patten-Fitzgerald; her grandson Christopher Criswell; her great grandchild Noah Christopher Criswell; her parents, Luigi Perkins and Jewell Perkins; her sister Lewonna Perkins Cooler; and her son-in-law Joseph Golden.
She is survived by: her sister Loretta Perkins Hencely; her daughter Carmen Lynnette Patten-Golden; her grandchildren, Clifton Criswell, Jonathan Hester, Stephanie and Emily Fitzgerald; her great grandchildren, Paige, Clifton Criswell, Zoe, Zachary and Lily Fitzgerald; and her son-in-law Timothy Fitzgerald.
