She was predeceased by: her parent William Henry Floyd; and her daughter Gail Thompson. She is survived by: her parent Eddie Belle Morgan Floyd; her children, Jeana Murray-Nieporte of Richmond, VA, Rupert Mel Murray of Ludowici, GA and Randy Chester Murray of Ludowici, GA; and her sister Leta Almond. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
