She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Styron and Nellie Hodge Styron; her husband Thurman "Pete" Garvey, Sr.; her son Thurman Garvey, Jr.; her grandson James Daniel Garvey; her children, Kenneth Garvey (Rebecca), Marvin Garvey (Sonya) and Julia Garvey Hinnet (Carlton); her grandchildren, William Garvey, Karen Hinnet, Julia Ann Garvey, Amy Hill, Amanda Bradshaw and Nathan Clowdus; and her siblings, Kathleen Brown, Nancy Campbell and David Styron. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
