She is survived by: her parents, William Kite Alsop, Jr and Sara Davis Alsop; her children, Christopher Plum (Donna) of Killingworth, Nancy Morganweck (Chuck) of Tariffville and Scott Plum (Darlene Guzzo) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Alexander, Sara, Gwendolyn, David and Matthew; and her sister Jane.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name can be made to the Arboretum in Wilmington 6206 Oleander Drive Wilmington, NC 28403.
