It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Shore Reece (Hamptonville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd "Lester" Shore and Nora Brooks Shore; her husband Robert Vestal Reece; her son Robert Jeffery Reece; and her siblings, Kenneth Shore, Charles Shore, Wayne Shore, Gayle Shore, Carol Sloop, Joann Shoffner and Dorothy Stone.

She is survived by : her son Danny Wayne Reece; her grandchildren, Megan Lynn Reece and Casey Reece; her great grandchild Sawyer Robert Reece; and her sisters, P. "Joan" Hinson, Brenda Stringer and Donna Goforth. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the funeral home to help with their expenses.
