With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Money (Hamptonville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Money and Helen Lewis Money; his former wives, Marie Money and Jean Money; and his sister Barbara M. Royal.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Money; his sons, Richard Lewis Money, Jr., Donald Wayne Money (Melissa) and Michael Money (Maria); his grandchildren, Jessica Winter Money, Eddie Cristobol, Rebecca Money, Freddie Money and Paige Money; and his brother-in-law James E. Royal.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Brothers Funeral Service (803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery (1900 Asbury Church Rd, Hamptonville, NC 27020).
