It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelva Bryant Cox (Hamptonville, North Carolina), who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ott Bryant and Estie Bryant; her husband JB Cox; her siblings, Odean Bryant and Bobbie Dietz; and her great grandchildren, Samuel Moore and Silas Moore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Beckerdite and Michelle Martin (Danny); her grandchildren, Katie Molnar (Thomas), Celia McGlamery (Clint), Cassie Burchette (Jared), Carley Phillips (Brandon), Ethan Henderson (Brianna), Hannah Moore (Tyler) and Faith Martin; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Brody, Bentley, Nolan, Wade, Lydia and Raelyn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marler Road Baptist Church (4433 Collins Rd, Hamptonville, NC 27020). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
