She was predeceased by : her parents, Alton Willis and Flora Belle Willis; her husband Billy Best, Sr.; and her siblings, Corrine Nelson, Kenny Willis and Willie Bryan Willis.
She is survived by : her sons, Billy Best, Jr. of Harkers Island, Alton Best (Glenda) of Harkers Island and Rocky Best (Brenda) of Harkers Island; her sister Teresa Freeman of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Clark, Casey, Talley, Jared, Tia, Ashley and Tanya; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Mahonri, Abe, Sarah, Spencer, Jared, Mosiah, Emerson, Kirbey, Eden and Charley; and her great great grandchild Lily. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
