He was predeceased by : his parents, James H. Lewis and Elizabeth Lewis of Harkers Island; and his wife Maggie Hancock Lewis. He is survived by : his children, Phil, Margaret Ann Rose (Leslie) and Philip Lewis (Jean); his grandchildren, Bruce Kevin Lewis (Lori) of New Bern, Tracy L. Lewis of Harkers Island, Tara Guthrie of Sanford, Jonathan Brett Rose (Cathy) of Gloucester and Joan O'Neal (JD) of Harkers Island; his great grandchildren, Maggie Diane Lewis of New Bern, Kevin Ian Lewis of New Bern, Tracy Ethan Lewis of Beaufort, Jonathan Michael Rose (Rebecca) of Bettie, Christopher Ryan Rose of Gloucester, Bertley Paul Willis of Gloucester and Contessa Ann Willis of Harkers Island; and his great great grandchild Dawson Cole Rose of Bettie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
