She was predeceased by: her father Erwin T. "Ridge" Ridgeway Jr.; and her brother James Randolph Ridgeway. She is survived by: her mother Edith "Deta" Aldrich Ridgeway; her husband Charles Cass Redmond; her daughters, Dita Lumsden of Beaufort, NC and Greta Lumsden of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Jordan Lumsden of Raleigh, NC, Joli Pizzo of Greensboro, NC and William Pizzo of Raleigh, NC; and her pets, Gus and Maxine.
