He was predeceased by: his parents, N. T. Douglas and Mary Powell Douglas; his wife Harriet Lee Douglas; and his sons, Aaron Lee Barefoot and Travis Douglas.
He is survived by: his children, Kiesha Douglas Fraley, Eddie Barefoot (Suzette) and Chad Franklin Douglas; his sister Judy Delores Douglas Baker (Hubbard); and his grandchildren, Kendall Fraley, Brandi Barefoot, Dustin Barefoot (Sam), Dylan Barefoot and Edwin Barefoot (Jenny). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
