He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Evelyn Willis (Walter Willis) and Harvey Taylor; and his brother Wayne Willis. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Taylor; his daughters, Rebecca Gillikin (Jon) of Straits and Jo Matthis (Brian) of Beaufort; his grandchildren, Kayla Gillikin of New Bern and Brian "BJ" Matthis (Brittney) of Gloucester; his sisters, Suzette Guthrie (Larry) of Harkers Island, Judy Simmons (Robert) of Newport and Debra Rose (Manley) of Harkers Island; his aunts, Grace Willis of Harkers Island and Sue Gaskill of Stacy; his uncle Joe Taylor of Davis; and his pet Sally. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
