He was predeceased by: his parents, Opah Gaither and Ethel Gaither. He is survived by: his wife Mary Gaither; his sister Sharon Gaither Turner (Billy); his sons, Shawn Gaither (Avis) and Kenneth Gaither II (Takeisha); his grandchildren, Kionah Gaither, Kahleah Gaither, Kenneth Gaither III, Kaiden Gaither, Kennedy Gaither and Kyler Gaither; his close friend John Summers (Linda); and his cousins, Jerry James and Tammy Welman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
