She is survived by: her children, Audrianna Newkirk (Da'Quante Davis) of Fayetteville, NC, Alexandria Newkirk of Teachey, NC and Alonzo Newkirk Jr. (Latesha) of Turkey, NC.; her grandchildren, Freya Newkirk and Kenji Newkirk; and her sister Renita Brooks (Cedric) of Ivanhoe, NC..
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (111 N Ingold Ave, Garland, NC 28441). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church (9364 Wildcat Rd, Ivanhoe, NC 28447). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery (240 Pilgrim Rest Church Rd, Harrells, NC 28444).
