She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Robert and Margaret Slaughter Horton; her sister Lillie Grey Pruden; and her sister-in-law Peggy Daniels Rodgers. She is survived by: her husband Reid; her siblings, Bessie Harrell of Murfreesboro, Linda Horton Bristow of Ahoskie and Arthur Lee Horton (Sandra) of Rich Square; and her sister-in-law Sharon J. Daily Tucker (Thomas) of Terre Haute, Indiana. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
