The memory of Edward Eugene Taylor Jr. of Harrisburg, North Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur Taylor and Hilda Lee Taylor; and his stepson D. Keith Todd. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Taylor; his stepchildren, Stuart Todd and Sharica Todd; and his siblings, Elliot Taylor (Mary) and Martha Ferrell. He is also survived by two aunts, an uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home (12115 University City Blvd, Harrisburg, NC 28075).
