She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Witten; and her parents, Russell Proctor, Jr. and Alice. She is survived by: her sons, Hank Witten (Liz) of New Bern and Carter Witten (Joy) of Havelock; her grandchildren, Taylor, Zach and Avery (Myra Lewis); her brother Russell Proctor III (Nancy) of Rocky Mount; and her sibling's children, Amanda Proctor Mullen (Kai) and Lee Proctor (Katy).
