We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2022, at the age of 83, Audrey Faye Gillikin Parnell (Havelock, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Calhoun Parnell, Jr.; her daughter Melodie Dawn Parnell; her parents, Cleveland Gillikin and Lula Gillikin; and her siblings, Lula Belle Merrill, Eric V. Gillikin, Albert Gillikin, Jimmy B. Gillikin, Anson "Ray" Gillikin and Sandra Lynn Gillikin.
She is survived by: her children, Jodie Parnell Willis (John) of Otway, James Calhoun Parnell, III (Doris Ann) of Otway and Kery Wayne Parnell (Lynne) of Williston; her sister Gladys Garner (Jimmy) of Newport; her grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Willis (Merle Hunt, Jr.), John "Buddy" Willis (Samantha), Jason Dudley and Sheila Lupton; her great grandchildren, Emmalyn Kate Willis, Audrey Dare Willis, Aaron Lupton, Ashton Lupton and Daisy Ann Willis; and her cousin Leroy Golden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
