He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Solomon and Victoria Louisa Carpenter Tipton. He is survived by: his siblings, Claude, John William, Mary Tipton Herbrueger and Audrey Tipton McBride; his wife Freddie Lou of Belvoir, NC.; his daughters, Freddie Anne Nelon (Bob) of Oklahoma City, OK, Vickie Lynn Davis (Charlie) of Havelock and Terry Marie Lloyd of Pickerington, OH; his grandchildren, Gregory Nelon, Lindsay Nelon Stout (Eric), Robyn Lloyd and Jeffrey Lloyd; his great grandchild Madelyn Stout; and his pet Darcy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
