She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Gaines Yeager; her parents, John Shimo and Anna Shimo; and her son-in-law David Goodwin. She is survived by: her daughters, Patty Goodwin, Chris Yeager, Kathleen Yeager-Hayden (Dion Hayden) and Paula Yeager (Cliff Grebe); her grandchildren, Lisa Pitts (Brandon), Karen Rasavage (Jimmy), Jenna Strouth (Jeff Hawkins), Paul Holleran (Erica), Kihr Knapp and Chayton Knapp; and her sisters, Rita Bega and Margie Sawicki.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dottie's memory may be made to the Havelock VFW Post 7315 Auxiliary " Relief Fund" at P.O. Box 331, Havelock, NC 28532.
