She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Riggs and Velma Riggs; and her sister Brenda Arnette. She is survived by: her husband Daniel H. Kirk; her children, Ann Margaret Allen of Cape Carteret and Kenneth "Buck" Allen (Christine) of Ocean; her brothers, Ronald Earl Riggs (Forrestine) of Dover, NC and James "Skeeter" Riggs (Debra) of Dover, NC; her brother-in-law Herman "Doodle" Arnette of Grifton, NC; her grandchildren, Matthew Allen (Leila) of Asheville, Cortney Bailey (Brian) of Bear Creek and Craig Sanford of Cape Carteret; her great grandchildren, Levi Allen, Benton Allen of Asheville and Ava Sullivan of Bear Creek; and her pet Ellie Mae.
