He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Belcher Jr.; and his sister Jennifer Adams. He is survived by: his children, Kara Nicole Belcher of Newport and Derek Randall Belcher of Raleigh; his brother Gerald G. Belcher (Mary) of Lexington, Kentucky; and his grandson Jameson Glancy.
