He is survived by: his wife Julia Lewis Eskew; his children, Michael Eskew (Julie Masson) of Mebane, NC, Paul Eskew (Mee) of Greenville, SC, Robert Eskew of Havelock, Luther Lewis (Kathy Ballou) of Newport, NC, Joseph Scruggs (Jessica) of Newport, NC, Heather Hobbs of Jacksonville, NC, Misti Taylor (Chris) of Morehead City and Mary Magara (Allen) of Morehead City; his grandchildren, Christopher Eskew (Kortni), Austin Eskew, Angie Baker (Matthew), Candace Eskew, Paula Eskew, Brandon Hobbs, Kailey Hix (Stephen), Christopher Hobbs, Noah Lewis, Joseph Scruggs, Joshua Scruggs, Adrianna Scruggs, JT Scruggs, Skylar Scruggs, Daxton Scruggs, Charlotte Scruggs, Tiana Teague (Sammy), Bubba Taylor, Israel Long, AJ Magara, Aaron Magara, Aleigh Magara, Madison Dixon and Juliet Dixon; and his great grandchildren, Raylan, Maddie, Xoe, Izzabella, Owen, Samuel, Lilly, Wyatt, Charlotte, Sophia, Jabari, Jacobi, Cooper, Carson, Aubriella, Elysia, Alexander, Brayleigh and Taysen.
