It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Helms of Havelock, North Carolina, born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Helms and Minnie Helms. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Barb" Helms; his children, Wendy Meadows (Ron) of Maysville and Rodney Helms (Angela) of Havelock; his brother-in-law Larry Maddrey (Tena) of Newport; and his grandchildren, Taylor Patterson (Jacob) of Havelock, Ryan Helms of Havelock and Logan Meadows of Maysville.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
