With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hobart Allen Courtney of Havelock, North Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Donna Carter; his parents, Harold Courtney and Cora Courtney; his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Graves and Joanne Courtney; and his granddaughter Robin Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Michele "Seashell" Knighten Courtney; his children, Macey Knighten of New Bern and Jacob Todd Ryals of Havelock; his siblings, Linda Courtney Graves of Kentucky, Phillip Courtney and Danny Courtney; and his grandchildren, Jayden Daily, Ravion Briscoe and BellaDonna Johnson.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
